Day 1: Fly from Dubai (DXB) to Barcelona (BCN).
Day 2: Arrive in Barcelona.
Morning: Focus on the works of architect Antoni Gaudí. Take a taxi or shuttle from the port to La Sagrada Familia, his unfinished masterpiece. It is essential to book tickets online in advance to skip the long lines. This is basis availability.
Afternoon: Head to the Gothic Quarter to explore its narrow, winding medieval streets. See the Barcelona Cathedral, stroll down Las Ramblas, and visit the bustling La Boqueria market for a taste of local food.
Depart from Barcelona, Spain.
Day 3: Visit Palma de Mallorca, Spain
Morning: Walk or take a bus to the magnificent Palma Cathedral (La Seu), a Gothic cathedral dominating the city skyline. Right next to it is the Royal Palace of La Almudaina.
Afternoon: Consider a visit to Bellver Castle, a unique circular fortress on a hill with panoramic views of the city and harbor.
Day 4: At sea.
Day 5: Visit Marseille, France.
MuCEM (Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations): Located at the entrance of the Old Port, this modern museum is a landmark for its unique architecture. It's connected to the historic Fort Saint-Jean by a footbridge, allowing you to explore both the museum's exhibitions and the fort's ramparts with stunning sea views.
Vieux-Port (Old Port): This historic harbor is the heart of Marseille. Walk along the bustling quays, watch the daily fish market, and see the famous "Ombrière," a mirrored canopy designed by Norman Foster.
Day 6: Visit Genoa, Italy.
Morning: From the port, walk to the Old Harbor (Porto Antico), a lively area with the city’s famous Aquarium.
Afternoon: Get lost in the "vicoli", the city's labyrinthine alleyways. Visit the Cathedral of San Lorenzo with its striking black and white façade and then head to Piazza Raffaele de Ferrari, the main square, to see the impressive fountain.
Day 7: Visit Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy.
Morning: Take the train to Rome (60 to 90 min each way) and head straight to the Colosseum and the adjacent Roman Forum. We can assist in pre-booked skip the line tickets to save time.
Afternoon (If time allows): Walk towards the city center to visit iconic landmarks. You will likely only have time for one or two, so prioritize. Popular choices include tossing a coin in the Trevi Fountain, seeing the Pantheon, or visiting Piazza Navona.
Day 8: Visit Naples , Italy.
Morning: Visit Castel Nuovo, a medieval castle right by the port. From there, you can walk to the Galleria Umberto I, a stunning glass-domed shopping arcade.
Afternoon:
Walk to the National Archaeological Museum, which houses artifacts from Pompeii and Herculaneum.
Day 9: Arrive back in Barcelona, Spain.
Disembark from the ship in the morning and fly from Barcelona (BCN) back to Dubai (DXB).
